Takoyaki at Dotonbori street

8 pieces of takoyaki yumminess

I ordered these on my first walk in Dotonbori. I admit they were softer than I expected them to be, but they were tasty and steaming hot.

For the record, a takoyaki is a ball of batter with pieces of octopus in the center, cooked in a special takoyaki pan.

The batter is poured onto the rounded mold. Then the chef rolls them into small balls.

The takoyaki are always sold out quickly. Grab them while they’re hot.
