The priests of Nara

(This post is a little late, really sorry for the inconvenience.)

I really like the city of Nara, it’s a quiet place, with an old feeling to it. With all the shrines, temples, lovely greenery and of course the famous Nara deer, it’s just as peaceful as it gets (except for the nuclear force  protesters who were around the station gate.)

Right outside the station, in front of a fountain, I found two of these priests, collecting donations for something. Other than their attire that made them look like they escaped from another time or a historic themed anime series, the interesting things was that they didn’t move a bit. and in the beginning I thought they were statues.

I don’t usually like to have people see me taking pictures of them, but at least everyone else was.
